We’re American expats who spend most of our time exploring countries outside North America, so our coverage here is limited but authentic. Our main North American content centers on Mexico, where we spent 6+ weeks in early 2025 experiencing everything from Mexico City’s energy to Guanajuato’s colonial charm. We also share insights from a brief Canada visit and from our extensive travels thought he Pacific Northwest (where we lived before we became nomads). This isn’t a comprehensive North American travel guide – it’s honest sharing from the limited but meaningful experiences we’ve had on our home continent as budget-conscious expats.
